Untitled, 2020

Description: The piece has two pieces attached, a wooden "Y" and the lid from a container. Surrounding both shapes is a splattering of paint ranging from green to blue, at the top the shapes are more green but as it descends towards the bottom, a series of blue-green trails emerge and descend towards the bottom of the canvas. In the middle of the canvas is the top of a paint container and two large rips in the canvas "frame" the lid. Just to the right, in the largest concentration of green paint, is some gorilla glue, which stands out against the blue and green.
Meaning: My goal was for the meaning of the piece to be up to the viewer.
Medium: Acrylic, gorilla glue, lid, and wooden "Y" on canvas
