New York: 2019

Me and one of my uncles took this trip to New York.
We drove up to New York early in the day. Our first destination was the El Museo del Barrio where we experienced Spatial Environment, a exhibition on an installation by Lucio Fontana. After seeing Spatial Environment, we left El Museo for the Metropolitan Museum of Art. We went through the Modern and Contemporary Wing and part of the American Wing, Asian Wing, and the 19th and 20th Century European Paintings wing. While we were in the Modern and Contemporary wing we saw more pieces by Lucio Fontana. We then left for the MET Breuer, an annex of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. We went through all of Floor Five and Floor Three, which contained the remaining pieces by Lucio Fontana. Once we were done there, we walked to the Guggenheim Museum by Frank Lloyd Wright. We went through all of the Guggenheim, specifically an exhibition on the works of Hilma af Klint, a female artist who inspired my uncle so much he made an album based on her paintings. At the top of the museum was an exhibition on works by R. H. Quaytman who made it to contrast with af Klint's paintings. We then left, ate nearby, backtracked to the car, and went home.
