Description: The piece is constructed from two canvases that have been glued together. The larger canvas on the left is a solid yellow color, the smaller canvas on the right is flipped on its back. The inside surface of the smaller canvas is covered in a mix of blue paint with solid pieces and brushstrokes visible. In front of the blue piece of the canvas is a battery-powered window light.

Meaning: I created this piece in homage to artist Robert Motherwell, specifically his "Open" series. The purpose of this piece was to give the feeling of looking through a window.
