This trip was a personal one I took with my father.

We drove up to Philadelphia in the morning. First we went to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, which had just reopened after a renovation. We went there specifically to see an exhibition entitled Designs for Different Futures, an exhibition on futuristic technologies that had been designed for situations in the future. After going through the exhibition we went through the rest of the building to see the other pieces on display. After going through most of the museum and the adjacent sculpture garden, we went to the Barnes Foundation where another exhibition, entitled 30 Americans was held; in this exhibition all 30 people who provided pieces for the exhibit were both minorities and American. After getting through the exhibition, we left and drove home.
