Description: This piece is a successor to the first LIES, 2021; I plan on creating a series after the first one was well received. Arranged across the left middle of the canvas are a series of wooden letters that spell LIE, the S is offset and moved to the top right of the canvas. From the top of the canvas, blue and red paint cover most of the top half of the canvas; unlike the first LIES in which the canvas pours down the letters, the paint covers the letters like a standard painting.

Meaning: This piece was designed as the second in a series based on the original LIES, 2021, which was created to reflect my personal changes regarding politics over the course of 2020.
